Falkland Islands Government 2019-2020 Review of Falkland Islands Finfish Fisheries Led work on reviewing the approach of the Falkland Islands Government Department of Natural Resources, and capacity, to deliver efficient and effective management of Falkland’s fisheries, including an assessment of the extent to which the objectives of the Fisheries Ordinance are being met. The assessment will provide a clear understanding of the policy outcomes that are currently driving decision making, the legislation that supports policy delivery, how cross-governmental working can enable effective and efficient delivery, the extent of duplication, and how good governance is applied.

Defra, 2018-2019 Technological solutions for sea fisheries control and enforcement Led a project that identified recommendations for innovative technological solutions for sea fisheries control and enforcement in the UK post EU exit. Comprehensive needs assessment for UK fisheries management based on expert knowledge fisheries administrations, an analysis of suitable technologies, and recommendations for technology trials in UK waters and other areas of operational delivery such as intelligence gathering and dissemination.
